Havana is a great city for many things, especially for learning about the Cuban culture and history, but also for photography. It is a fun place to take a few photographs for sure. Unfortunately most of mine were taken with my phone on this trip but sometimes that happens. These are just a few of the moments I enjoyed in Havana.
The left wall shown above was the side of our apartment. This corridor and the connecting homes were originally all part of one large house. These neighbors were friendly and helpful. I was locked out of my apartment one day and a kind gentleman came and opened these doors and showed me the windows to my apartment. We couldn't speak the same language, but I understood and yes I rapped on the window and my son appeared at the front door to let me in. Somehow I taped this short little footage and include it because it contained the music that was playing. This dog was oh so friendly and eager to welcome anyone home.
